Determination of graduate profiles in study programs based on study tracers and input from FGD socialisation of vision and mission and curriculum reorientation with various stakeholders including alumni and graduate users. The competencies needed to meet the graduate profile targets are reflected in the learning outcomes of the courses and are evaluated through a questionnaire with respondents from the academic community (students, lecturers and students), alumni and graduate users. Evaluation is carried out according to quality standards every year and when renewing the curriculum. Alumni professions as academics, young researchers, and practitioners have been fulfilled as recorded in tracer studies.
BPB PLO are as follows: Academician, Young Researcher, Practitioner and Quality Supervisor. The description of graduate profiles, competence and knowledge processed is presented in Table 1.1.
Table 1.1 BPB’s Profile versus Competence and Knowledge inquires
No | Profile/ Description | Competence possessed | Knowledge possessed |

2 | Young Researcher Graduates are proficient in research methodologies applicable to resolving biological issues | Graduates possess research proficiency and the ability to convey research findings using the scientific method | Biological research methodology, biostatistics, and laboratory management |
3 | Practitioner Graduates are competent in identifying the underlying cause of a biological phenomenon and proposing strategic solutions. | Graduates can evaluate and communicate the results of their analysis of biological issues. | Biological Sciences such as microbiology, environment, and genetics. |
4 | Quality Supervisor Graduates are proficient in Biology research methodologies applicable to resolving quality control issues. | Graduates are proficient in biological sciences, particularly those applicable to quality control. | Biological sciences such as food microbiology, health, environment, and biotechnology |
